Ta’limul Qur’an
Introduction
The Holy Qur’an states:
“And, indeed, We have made the Qur’an easy to understand and to remember. But is there anyone who would receive admonition?” [54:41]
The Holy Prophet (pbuh) states:
The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it. [Bukhari]
Sayings of Promised Messiah (as)
The Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), greatly emphasized the importance of the recitation, study, and understanding of the Holy Qur’an. He taught that the Qur’an is the living and perfect Word of Allah, and that true spiritual progress can only be achieved by developing a deep connection with it
He repeatedly advised members of the Jama’at to recite the Qur’an regularly, reflect upon its meanings, and strive to implement its teachings in their daily lives
- Study the Qur’an with deep contemplation and hold it very dear. Love it more than anything else. God has said to me: All good is contained in the Qur’an [Noah’s Ark – p.13]
Contents of the Holy Qur’an
To Muslims, the Holy Qur’an is the Word of God and the ultimate source of guidance for all of mankind. It teaches about God, His attributes, and the relationship between the Creator and His creation. The Qur’an also provides moral and spiritual guidance for its followers, recounts historical accounts of prophets and past communities, presents arguments affirming the truth of the prophethood of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and offers glad tidings for believers along with warnings for those who reject the truth
Broadly speaking, the teachings of the Holy Qur’an can be understood within five main categories:

- The Law and Commandments
- Historical Accounts
- The Wisdom
- The Prophecies
National Qur’an Learning Campaign
Weekly classes will be held every Monday evening across Canada, providing an opportunity for participants to learn and strengthen their recitation and understanding of the Holy Qur’an. The following topics will be covered:
